Lasse Duo Montessori Bed for Kids & Toddlers is a high-quality yet affordable wooden bed, carefully handcrafted from solid pine in our workshop. Designed to combine durability, safety and versatility, it provides a long-lasting sleep solution that grows with your child.
Made from Grade A premium solid pine, the sturdy 9 x 2 cm frame and chunky 4.5 x 6 cm posts ensure excellent strength and stability. With an impressive maximum load capacity of 120 kg, this is more than just a standard children’s bed – it is strong enough for shared bedtime moments, making it especially practical for high-need children or those who benefit from parental presence at night.
The Lasse Duo is available in two leg height options:
- Montessori floor bed – promoting independence, confidence and easy access.
- 19 cm legs – offering a more elevated sleeping position and additional space underneath.
The bed includes two removable safety barriers (30 cm height, 10 cm spacing between slats), allowing you to adapt the layout as your child grows. Both barriers can be removed when no longer required, transforming the bed into a more open design.
Unlike many similar models, Lasse Duo is available in a full size range – from toddler bed dimensions up to a proper UK Double. You can choose natural untreated wood or a hand-painted colour finish to suit your interior style.

Dear Customer assembly of the bed is easy and takes about 15-30 mins. We provide digital manual for every bed. you just need to scan QR code on the box. We apologize for not having QR either paper manual in the box. We hope bed meets your quality expectations.
I was after something closer to the floor and with something to stop my toddler from falling out so this one fitted perfectly. Was very easy to put together also.
