Warranty coverage
All products purchased from bedixo.co.uk are covered under warranty, subject to the exclusions set out below. The warranty generally covers manufacturing defects and product failures resulting from workmanship or material faults.
We work closely with our suppliers and, where applicable, honour the manufacturer’s warranty. This is typically valid for one year from the date of purchase, although certain brands or products may include a longer warranty period.
How to make a warranty claim
If the issue can be resolved without returning the item (for example, by replacing a component), we will contact you with the available options.
Inspection, returns, and postage
Possible outcomes
If the fault is deemed warrantable, we may offer one of the following remedies (depending on the product and availability):
- Replacement of the faulty part.
- Replacement with the same item, or an alternative of equal or greater value (subject to stock availability; colour may vary).
- A refund, if we are unable to provide repair or replacement options.
Repaired/replacement items will be delivered to the original delivery address unless otherwise agreed, and will be covered for the remaining warranty period of the original item/part.
Timelines
Warranty claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis and procedures can vary by brand, product, and the type of fault. We will keep you updated at each stage and make every effort to resolve your claim as quickly as possible.
Warranty exclusions
The warranty does not apply in the following circumstances:
- The warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase may be required.
- Damage or failure caused by misuse, including (but not limited to) incorrect installation/assembly, poor maintenance, abuse or neglect, use outside the intended purpose, or unauthorised alterations unless expressly permitted in writing by bedixo.co.uk.
- Corrosion and/or deterioration caused by material fatigue, i.e. the natural breakdown of materials after extended use.
- General wear and tear from normal use of components, accessories, or consumable items.
- Items returned in an unclean or otherwise unsatisfactory condition may be refused and returned to you.
- Items damaged during return transit due to insufficient packaging may be refused.
